Costco and the Seaside Auto Mall, and offer clean and comfortable waiting areas that are wheelchair accessible and ADA approved. We also offer ample parking and for our local customers, shuttle service to nearby communities. Coast Weekly readers have voted Wayside Garage, Best

Wayside Garage prides itself in offering quality repair services for import and domestic vehicles, and has the latest diagnostic equipment housed within a

AND OWNER - Pat McDonald
 Pat McDonald, President and Owner, has been in the automotive repair industry
since 1967, working as a technician for
Chrysler, GM and Ford dealerships. Self-employed at Wayside since 1980, he is a licensed smog technician,
and advanced-level and master ASE technician. A local resident since 1962, Pat was born in Edmonton, Canada and
attended Monterey High School and Monterey Peninsula College.

greets our customers and helps to get their vehicles scheduled for
repair. Joining Wayside in 1986, Stacey has intimate working
knowledge processing warranty claims for manufacturer extended
warranty programs, and will often complete the process on behalf of
her customers. She attended and graduated from Education Seminar
Institute's Service Advisor School and is an ASE Certified Customer
Service Consultant. Stacey also attends regular management training seminars and
Education Seminar Institute classes to ensure smooth daily operations for the shop and their customers.

Our service technicians have a nearly combined 150 years of experience repairing all makes and model vehicles. We have four (4) ASE Master Technicians, and have a unique in-house apprenticeship program, whereby incoming technicians are mentored with one of the Master Technicians. All our technicians receive comprehensive dental, medical and retirement benefits. We invite interested technicians who may want to join us to give us a call.
Service technicians also receive regular training designed to keep
up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair
techniques.
