Great garage. Just had my Toyota truck serviced and received excellent customer service with a fair price. After reading other negative reviews i'm very surprised. Stacey was very respectful and polite. I was given the exact service I requested and they did not try to sell me anything my vehicle didnt need need. As a matter of fact, I was late to pick up my truck and Stacey stayed after-hours to allow me to get my truck that night. This was my first service at Wayside Garage and I will continue to take my truck there

Don't believe everything you read on yelp... this company has been in business since 1946 and is family owned and operated. What yelp neglects to do is show all of the positive reviews.

I've been taking my car(s) to Wayside Garage for 8+ years and am very happy with the service that I receive. Sam is always very conservative with his recommendations as we all know taking your car to the shop is almost as bad as calling your local plumber! I appreciate his conservative but honest approach as a single mom on a budget. I find that this family run shop, around since before my time is run with a lot of integrity and I always recommend it to all my family and friends.

This place is great! It's family owned and operated and has been since 1981! They are honest and consistent. If you need advise or repairs on you cars, go see them. Their prices are fair and they office staff will make the effort to get you the best possible price.

I have been taking my truck to Wayside Garage ever since my previous girlfriend turned me onto them 4 years ago... When you are new to an area and don't know a mechanic to go to, you find yourself in a very venerable position. In my hometown Paradise we have a family mechanic who I would trust with my life.
After bringing the love of my life (My 82 S10) to Pat and his daughter, Stacy numerous times during the past 4 years I have realized just what a trustworthy garage it is that they run. Their prices for parts are competitive with auto parts stores and their hourly rates on labor are very reasonable.
They have helped me to chase many gremlins out of my truck that other mechanics on the Peninsula simply gave up on.
I have referred many friends to them and will continue to do so as long as I live in the Monterey Peninsula...
I even created a Yelp account so that I could give them a more proper rating than they currently have.
